The CIMC team are delighted to announce the launch of our new and improved trade ecommerce website, heralding a new digital era for our business.

With consumer confidence increasing due to the steady economic recovery in the UK and a rise in the housing market, we’ve noticed an increase in demand for home interior and furniture products.

As one of the UK’s leading wholesale suppliers of lighting, furniture and home accessories, we’ve invested significantly in creating a new CIMC website, not only to accommodate the growing demand for home interior products, but to create a much more user friendly experience online for our busy retailers that also enables us to showcase our ever-expanding and innovative range of home furnishings.

Behind the scenes, the new CIMC Magento website is completely integrated with the back office ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Nav, giving the CIMC team full control of thenew website from within Navision, with product, pricing, stock, customer data now controlled centrally.  The systems integration is already making a big impact on helping the CIMC team here in our Leicester and Scottish head quarters speed up our internal operations and processes.

Customer feedback has helped us shape the new website, resulting in a whole host of new and improved features, including:

1. An improved search function to help filter through our large and comprehensive range of products.

2. A live help function to ensure our customers can get quick and efficient assistance on the website.

3. A new-and-improved drop down menu and menu bar to allow users to navigate the website more easily.

4. A wishlist that allows you to add products easily to the wishlist and from the wishlist into your shopping basket.

5. The ability for our customers to register quickly for a trade account.

6. A trade dashboards that offers a rich resource area that allows customers to control their online trade account and upload their orders straight from an excel spreadsheet.

7. Real-time stock updates.

8. Ability to place pre-orders.

9. Mobile optimisation to help shoppers browse and buy our full product range from mobile devices.


So far, the new CIMC website has proven to be very successful with our existing customers who are enjoying the new features and ease of placing orders.
