At CIMC Home we dedicated to providing you with fashionable home furnishings. Having been in the trade for over 30 years we know a thing or two about the constantly changing trends in the interior market, therefore, our dedicated design team work around the clock to create trendy products that are set to be huge for the season as well as timeless designs that will be around for seasons to come.

So if you’re ready to find out what trends are in for spring 2020 then continue reading below.

PINK AND GREY

Chic, contemporary and a perfect pair. The pink and grey trend has been around for a few years now, but it is not set to go anywhere in 2020. The neutral of 2019, grey, will now be a core hue serving as a foundation for colour contrasts. Working well with any colour, this shade can be bold as a feature or subtle as a base choice. We among others think that grey paired with pink works incredibly well. Peachy pinks right the way through to pastel is wonderfully modern yet reminiscent of the colour staple seen in 50’s & 60’s. Expect to see this colour duo in furniture, furnishings and linen as well as wall art and accents.

TUBULAR METAL FURNITURE

Metal frames are not losing their popularity anytime soon. Bringing a weightless aesthetic look to any classic or contemporary interior, there are endless amounts of styles out there contending for a place in your home. Some of our favourites include tubular chrome designs with glass for more contemporary homes or antique gold with deluxe marble table tops for a touch of luxury. For those who prefer a classic or industrial feel for their interior, you’ll be pleased to know that matte black metal finishes are back on the scene. Caged and geometric base designs bring an edge to any interior and furniture manufacturers like ourselves are always finding new innovative ways to evolve the metal furniture trend.

MARBLE

Traditionally confined to bathroom and kitchen interiors, marble has hugely been revived over the past years. It’s set to stay in 2020 anyway and it’s now inclusive in everything, from soft furnishings to occasional furniture and home décor items too. If you’re new to the trend, you can introduce this to your interior with smaller accessories such as clocks and candle holders or how about trying a lamp with a marble base? The warm glow from the light works beautifully with the coolness of the marble pattern.

Once you’ve had a play with accessories, you’ll be ready to go large with marble furniture. Go for marble-topped coffee or dining tables that scream luxury style or if you want to keep it quiet paired back marble-topped end tables look wonderfully sleek.

REFINED GLAMOUR

2020 Glamour is all about being refined, less sheen and more sophisticated. Luxury materials such as pewter and velvet blend together beautifully creating fine decorative details. Furthermore, fringing and round-shaped furnishings inspired by the Art Deco age are set to be huge as well as iridescent finishes that deliver a luxurious shine just like natural pearls.

JAPANDI

A hybrid between the Japanese and Scandinavian trend of minimalism – Japandi blends elements from both décor trends. This new trend takes the Japanese notion of ‘wabi-sabi’ which translates to finding beauty in the imperfect and the Scandinavian ‘huge’ trend which is creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. This exciting new look brings together the best of both, soft neutral colours, nature-inspired accents and natural wood. Set to be huge and ultimately become a timeless trend, not only does it deliver in beautiful minimalist style but it also teaches us an inspiring philosophy to embrace imperfection and live simply.
